Good quality Italian restaurant w traditional menu. I went on Monday night dinner, so it wasn’t very business. Nicely decorated. Server was very diligent. Sommelier wasn’t too knowledgeable w wine. Food quality is very good, and I forgot how large American portion is.
Had a chance to drop in to Carlotto - I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. We were lucky to get a table but the hostess was incredibly accommodating in getting us in! The appetizer was spot on - I had the Meatball special and warm olives - the focaccia bread was delightful. Order a Negroni - the classic was delicious and hit the spot before my Ravioli came. I have to say the beef short ribs was the star of the show - so soft and fall off the bone ... mixed with some parmesan fries and broccolini. Finally no Italian dinner is complete without a Tiramisu dessert. Decently priced for the quality and service - we left promising to return!
The food is delicious and atmosphere is so nice and intimate. Highly recommend the tuna crudo appetizer. Ask for Howard, he’s friendly, provides the best recommendations and great service!

I had a great experience at this location. I had dinner with friends, waitress was so kind and friendly. I had a cosmopolita which was great! Also had change to try lasagna, artichokes as appetizer and I can say everything was delicious.
What an amazing restaurant, definitely recommended! The food looks delicious but during this visit I stayed on the bar side cause I wanted some nice girl talk and cocktails I chose the right place to go! But if you want to go for a dine in experience they do offer a restaurant week menu with a 3 course meal, what an amazing deal We went for cocktails and had so much fun listening to our Bartenders recommendations The expresso Martini is a must, is sweet and a perfect start to our night, my sister ordered a Late Checkout which was refreshing and on the sweet side. The manager introduced himself very politely and suggested I tried La prima, which also had expresso in it and IT DID NOT disappoint is a perfect convo to continue with the coffee flavour throughout the night! The bartender also recommended trying the Solari for my sister which is also a cocktail on the sweet side, and it was very enjoyable! The experience overall was magnificent, I love trying places that feel warm even tho they look high end, cause it makes you feel welcome and with feelings of coming back Everyone in the team is amazing, but high praise to the Manager Marvin and to our bartenders, Jesus and Sol
Top tier dining experience during Restaurant Week in NYC at Carlotto! From the moment we walked into the restaurant, everyone took great care of us. The menu selection was excellent. The service was prompt and welcoming, considering the full occupancy of all 75 seats. Every course was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful visit, we will definitely be back soon!
Excellent food, excellent service! We had a large party of 7 and the waiter we had took the best care of us. Every dish we ordered was incredible. The most unexpected delicious dish was the cantabrian anchovies & butter, give it a try even if you aren’t an anchovy fan!
